Who am I?

Probably smart to not give your time and money away to someone without experience.

I was lucky enough to grow up swimming. Six days a week, head down, just swimming. After 12 years as a competitive swimmer and 3 years of coaching, most of me thought I was going to leave the sport in the dust… until I signed up for my first triathlon.

I learned pretty quickly that those years in the pool were an asset. Not just because I knew how to swim fast, but because I knew how to swim smoothly and efficiently without burning unnecessary energy before the bike and run.

If you found this page, I trust swimming for you probably feels a lot like biking and running felt for me when I first started: awkward, frustrating, and hard to feel athletic doing. I get it.

My goal is simple. Help make swimming feel more natural, efficient, and manageable for you. Whether that’s through film review, virtual coaching calls, or meeting at the pool here in Austin, I want to help you better understand the water and become a more confident swimmer.
